Alright people,
We've come to the end of another semester and it's time fr celebration; Sierra Nevada's Celebration. Now I may have four more days of classes then finals, but I don't have anything else due this week, so it's time for another review.
Ironically, the Celebration label has a snow covered log cabin and a Christmas themed border, and today it was 70 degrees here in the Hoosier state. I take this as further proof that God loves Indiana. Anyway, it's fortunate for my that IPA's go with just about any weather.
This is a pretty darn good beer. Pours a delicious looking golden-amber color and the head is one of the best I've seen. Retention and lacing was tremendous. Overall, this was just an above average IPA. The flavor was very similar to Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum, mostly because of the use of whole cone hops. The hop profile and scent were very solid, and combined with a solid malt backbone, this beer was pretty delicious. Here's the whole review.
On another topic, you guys may have noticed the dramatic improvement of picture quality. That has been due to me finally arriving in the 21st century with a smart phone. My new iPhone takes pictures that are roughly 1,000,000,000x better than my old phone, so now you guys have that to look forward to.
And now it about 10 minutes, a new episode of How I Met Your Mother will be on, so I suggest you all grab a beer and enjoy! Cheers!
-Chris
