It's been a few days since my last post, and I blame Blogger. Ok, I know it was probably something with my computer, but the Blogger loading icon never actually loaded anything for the past 3 days.
Anyway, it's stout season baby! For those of you who haven't realized this already, I love Founders Brewing. Everything they make is pretty freaking delicious, and now it's the time of year for their Breakfast Stout.
Let's take a trip down memory lane....1 whole year ago. Last year I walked into the liquor store and saw a 4-pack of FBS sitting in the cooler. I hadn't really heard of it, but I figured what the heck. I grabbed it, went home and cracked one open, and a year later, my beer tasting obsession has taken off. This beer is a deliciously decadent mix of chocolate and coffee in an awesome oatmeal stout base. Technically considered an Imperial Stout, but I could drink these all night. I'm not sure how to fully express the amount I like this beer. One thing is for sure, if you like stouts, go get this one. That's all I can say.
