Finally got multiple people in to taste a beer. Mark came over tonight and we decided to crack open the bottle of Jack's Abby Smoke and Dagger. To be honest, it's not been one of the beer's I've been looking forward to.
Little did I know, I actually kind of liked this one. Lots of chocolate malts and a hint of coffee made it way more like a stout than a smoked beer. I like that. The smoke flavor was subtle and added to the drink, versus what it usually does in my opinion. Oh well, check out the full review here.

I'm not a big fan of stouts, but this one isn't bad. I wouldn't by any means call it a smoked beer. You can definitely taste the chocolate malt and coffee, not so much the smoke. Good choice for the first review, though I wouldn't have chosen the Reds man. Go Indians! Anyway beers good. I would recommend a good burger to go with it.
That's all I really have to save about that. To the pub!
